Wow.

I remember Stuart expressing that he wanted to do a reunion/farewell tour in his behind the music interview...damn it would be great if they did a final tour, but alas it will never happen.

My guess is that they'll enjoy the one time reunion gig so much they'll go ahead and do full tour, at least I hope......

Don't hold your breath, Gordon Sumner is preparing to unleash yet another solo album on an unsuspecting public so he'll likely do a long tour to support it. Stewart has signed (along with Ian Astbury) to record and tour with the remaining members of The Doors. Stewart is one of my favorite drummers of all time, and I like Ian Astbury but give me a break. Ray Manzarek must really need money these days to try and keep the Doors going like this.

Not nearly as old as Andy Summers.

Check this out....

BORN:
Dec 31, 1942
Lancashire, England

So he'll be 60 next month.

Shocking, isn't it?

(Actually, I already knew that, so I'm not so shocked. I WAS shocked when I read his date of birth a couple years ago, though....)

If the Police are ever going to do that "Farewell" tour, they better do it in the next year or two.... (In other words, it ain't too likely to happen.)

What I find funny is Andy is the oldest but to me he has always looked the youngest. Even on the Police Live: Outlandos to Synchronicity tape he looked the youngest...while Stuart is really looking like a granddaddy.
