ATLANTA -- Singer Bobby Brown is apparently in trouble with the law.
He was arrested early Thursday morning in Atlanta's trendy Buckhead community on drug and traffic charges.
An officer at the Atlanta city jail said Brown is charged with possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding and having no driver's license or proof of insurance.
Brown is the husband of singer Whitney Houston.
He's expected to post bond, but the officer said Brown also has a charge pending against him in neighboring DeKalb County. There was no word on what that charge is, but the officer said Brown is to be transported to the DeKalb County Jail later Thursday.
