Advice Needed: Fashion Show Music

I'm helping to organize a fashion show for kids, and I need some advice about music. I need about seven songs, and they have to be clean (lyric and theme-wise), fun and upbeat, and appropriate for kids. I started blocking after I thought of Moby "We are all Made of Stars." Last year, we used Daft Punk's "One More Time (Celebrate)," LEN's "Steal My Sunshine," and a song by some boy band that the kids loved, but left scars on my eardrums that remain a year later. This really isn't my area of expertise, and I would be eternally grateful for any song shout-outs!

How about "Clint Eastwood" by Gorillaz? Don't think there's anything remotely offensive about that song. Plus, it seems to fit pretty well with the songs you've used in the past.

Del's rap in that song has some cuss words in it. I've never really tried to interpret the lyrics, but I've heard some speculate it's about drug use. But it's still a cool song!

The first song that popped into my head was "Ooh La La" by the Wiseguys. Or maybe "Start the Commotion." They are each quite upbeat and poppy. You've probably heard both of them and not known it because they've been used in a lot of commercials, movies, and such.

You'll have to let us know what you pick.

Now I remember that we did use Wiseguys last year. I think it was "Start the Commotion." So, yeah, that's exactly the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I heard a song being used as a bumper on a radio show last night that sounded perfect, but being that they were talking over the song, I couldn't hear the lyrics... I'll think of it! Thanks for the suggestions, let me know if you think of more!

I'm not sure if this song has an objectionable content...but perhaps the perfect "fashion" song is "Bohemian Like You" by The Dandy Warhols.
