Wow MTV does something right?

I am amazed at MTV doing something that actually interests me. The $2 bill concert series..I never heard about it until a few days ago. Apparently, it's been going on for awhile but every 2nd of every month--they sponsor a $2 show (limit two tix) of some awesome bands like Coldplay! It was a cool feeling to put down $4 to get two tix to see the Foo Fighters, one of my favorite bands of the moment! And the new cd is just...so damn_good. Rock on MTV $2 concert series.

Believe it or not but I actually see good videos every now and then on M2. Riffs and Rhymes is a decent show but the host sucks.

The $2 bill thing is really cool. I'd be happy to see a few of those but as usual a lot of those bands don't interest me. Still a good idea IMO.

I recently heard that MTV2 plays videos from Soilwork and Lamb Of God. Which is pretty cool to here, don't have MTV2 tho :)

They play parts of it. I'm not sure if MTV2 has the whole thing or not. Too bad the Foo Fighters tix were only available at 2 Philly locations and were limited to 2 per person :(.

It really is a great idea, even if the idea is to get people to tune into a station that won't play the videos' from these artists.
