2PAC new album
This is the news i've been waiting for and I"M ****IN' THRILLED about it.
this is from the official 2PAC website (2paclegacy.com) under NEWS "As many Record stores and fan sites have been reporting, the new Tupac double-album will be released on Novemeber 26 on Amaru Entertainment/Death Row/Interscope. 2PacLegacy.com will be premiereing new tracks from the album, describe as "Raw, raw ****!" by producer Johnny 'J' in the build up to it's release. Expect a HUGE update within the next week or so." |
I'm eagerly anticipating this one as well.
Right now i've been listening to the Makaveli & Dillinger single "First 2 Bomb" and it's really tight. This new double album will be the last album of new 2pac material that Death Row releases. |
2PAC's new Double Album will be named, "BETTER DAYZ"
|
 Sweet.. I"m looking forward to this too.
I'm sure we prob have all the songs off unreleased stuff, but it's still great to see what they did to get the rough stuff, to finished. |
Is it called "I'm still alive and living in Puerto Rico" ;)
|
Wow, how many records does this make for a dead guy? B.I.G. is really falling behind in the race.

Isn't he dead?
God, his corpse has managed to put out more records than most living artists in the past five years. |
The main reason for all the albums, is he was just a workaholic.. There are unofficial releases which account for about 10 or so cds (correct me if I"m wrong, it's hard to keep up, I think I do have about 10 or so makaveli(s))
The new ones, are simply record companies taking this unreleased stuff, often recording a new chorus, interlude tracks etc. and putting them out. The more the better to me.. They don't make rap like that anymore. |

Yeah, there are around 10 or so 2PAC/Makaveli bootlegs, i guess TOO MUCH Media attention 'bout his court case(s) overshadowed that 2PAC was ALWAYS in the STUDIO. It has always been documented that as soon as he left the COURT HOUSE, He immeadtly went to the STUDIO, other people's studio, filmed a video, or even do a Movie, ALL IN THE SAME DAY... Most of the Bootleg recordings are LOW quality, so it's GREAT that they are releasing Them in better quality, but YES sometimes they change a BEAT, or HOOK in the song...so sometimes the BOOTLEGED version is better, BUT...NO NEED TO BYTCH, I GUESS... And YES "THEY DON"T MAKE RAP LIKE THAT ANYMORE"...THAT's SO F'N TRUE, NOBODY COMES CLOSE TO THAT... "TRUE" TO THAT... |
some of the production on the newly polished tracks really sucks compared to what it was
especially the song "Until the End of Time" it had this sax-jazzy chorus on the original bootleg and they made it a pretty crappy-sound remix in my opinion |
Yo yo yo my n*ggas >crosses arms< yo bust a cap at your momma! :D

THIS IS FROM: 2PACLEGACY.COM
Better Dayz Album Info Fresh from the vast and extensive vaults of unreleased recordings, 2PAC’s latest album, Better Dayz, is due for a November 26 release on Amaru Entertainment/Interscope/Tha Row. Better Dayz is the follow-up to Until The End Of Time, which topped the US Billboard charts backin March 2001 and was later named in The Source’s Top 10 Albums of that year. Better Dayz, Tupac's sixth posthumous release, has all the necessary ingredients of a great ‘Pac record. It is made up of 25 eclectic selections recorded between 1994-1996 (arguably the most exciting period of his musical career), sprinkled across two discs. Tupac’s incredible diversity was always considered as one of his best qualities, and it is boldly highlighted with this release. Whilst preaching inspirational words of hope and support on tracks like ‘Mama’s Just a LittleGirl’ and ‘Never Call U Bitch Again’, Shakur fires venomous thugged-out spits on ‘When We Ride On Our Enemies’ and ‘**** ‘em All’ - tracks that only Tupac could tell with such passion and anger, an attribute rarely seen in current chart-topping rappers. ‘Thugz Mansion’ the first single from Better Dayz, is produced by 7 Aurelius, the man behind many superstar artists. The proposed second-single, which is to be accompanied by a video is ‘My Block’ (Remix) which gives a great insight into Tupac’s thoughts and beliefs. The song is a deep and powerful reflection of the ghetto’s harsh environment that Tupac was raised in. As is ‘Who Do UBelieve In?’ which features Tupac’s late half-brother, Yafeu Fula (Khadafi of Tha Outlawz). The pair’s thought-provoking lyrics on this collaboration are some of the deepest they ever crafted; “Can’t close my eyes cuz’ all I see is terror, I hate the man in the mirror cuz’ his reflection makes the pain turn realer.”(Tupac). Amaru Entertainment relied on the immense talents of Johnny‘J’, DJ Quik, BRISS, Jazze Pha and more to compose the back-bone of the album, Beats - and to spice it up even more enrolled the vocal talents of Tyrese, Mya, Mr. Biggs (RonIsley) and more. The collection is Executively Produced by Tha Row Records CEO, Suge Knight and Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur, who’s dedication and hard-work wast he driving force behind the project, and must be appreciated by fans everywhere! 2PacLegacy.Com will continue to keep you well updated on all happenings in the forth-coming weeks ‘til release. We will also post a review of the album, which will have a run-down of each track. |

It's a pretty good double disc. Granted, he wasn't around to do his verses over the production (which could've been better) but it's still a pretty decent compilation for someone who wasn't around to oversee it.
Pick it up. |
