I Went To An Andrew W.K Concert Last Night...

And it was great, easily one of the best shows I've been to.

Me and my friends aren't big Andrew W.K fans and actually think he's a loser but thats why we went. We said hey its so bad and thats why its gonna be fun.

And we went and it was total party metal \m/. He let everyone up on the stage (about 100 people) and we were just partying with the guy. Nothing like some party metal to get you going

So what I'm saying is that... Go to an Andrew W.K show!

That sounds like fun.

I don't think he's a loser, I think he's doing a bit. He's obviously playing the part of a heavy metal dude, and I think he's hilarious. And getting the audience up on stage is a stroke of genius. Everyone who was onstage is probably talking about it.

Thats why we find him a loser. Me and my friends and total metal heads so we think him trying to be metal is funny because well he's not. (altho his drummer is the drummer of Obituary)

But I've changed my opinion. I'm totally party metaling now Andrew WK style

I don't think Andrew WK takes itself to seriously in being a metal band. They are sort of a parady of metal music.

It's good to see that Party Metal is still around, I grew up listening to bands like Ratt and Quiet Riot, it was all about rocking and girls.. then grunge hit when I was in college and everyone was listening to these boring bands standing in one place mumbling at the floor about how depressed they are while playing the same 2 cords... agghhh!! GRUNGE SUCKS!!! long live party metal!!!!

lol..party metal may not last forever...but at least it's something to loosen up & actually have fun listening to...which is pretty much what Andrew WK is trying to do since far to many new bands suck & take themselves to seriously.

Though if his next album is the same old....well he may end up like Quiet Riot.

Hope this can kickstart some kind of fun music again, although I doubt it.
