Rolling Stones: SACD "Virgin Remasters"??????????
 

I am confused, I keep seeing that the Stones will be released on SACD, just like EMI stuff, their Virgin CDs also. I cannot find any info anywhere on these titles; ie: Sticky Fingers, Exile, etc.
Does anyone know about this "second phase"???

As far as I know The Virgin catalog is not being released on SACD, just the recent ABCKO catalog.

The Virgin releases were remastered in the mid-90's (I believe when the rights were transferred over from Sony), but have not been released on either SACD or DVD-Audio (yet). I don't believe there's any plans in the works right now, either.

They had better not re-release these titles anytime soon! I just $60 getting the mini-LP reproductions of "Sticky Fingers", "Exile On Main St." and "Some Girls"!
