Which Dolly album should I get?

I got a free CD coming to me. Want to buy some country (y'all might remember a thread from a few months ago...)

Which Dolly album should I get? Or does anyone want to suggest something else?

Little Sparrow is a great album. Practically all the songs from start to finish are good. Of any of the titles listed in the poll, I would recommend this one first, then "The grass is blue" etc.... Her 1980-1998 releases are more pop/cheese-oriented and not as country/bluegrass influenced-so depending on your preferences, you can use that as a reference. Her really OLD SCHOOL stuff is Dolly at her best IMO-we're talking mid 70's and earlier.. You have to be careful though since so much has been re-released. Many of her best releases are OOP but are often found floating around in local stores. When shopping, be sure to check the CD for original release dates.

Recommended:

1.Dolly Parton-"Essential" Porter & Dolly
2. The Essential Dolly Parton Vol. 2

I've got all 3 and they are great especially for the price I paid.
Little Sparrow $4.99 at www.overstock.com
The Grass Is Blue around $5 at www.columbiahouse.com
<A HREF="http://cdstore.countrystars.com/linkmonster.asp?page=product&p=M&sku=NSYNWH0100050.2">Halos & Horns</A> (AUTOGRAPHED) $17.98 at countrystars.com
I also like Dolly Parton/Loretta Lynn/Tammy Wynette Honky Tonk Angels. :D
