Unknown U2 CDs, Help?!
 

I am trying to 'back up' all of my U2 music in mp3 format, and I have a 3 disk demo set that I can't for the life of me remember what it is called. Of course Musicmatch came up with nothing, so what I was wondering is if someone here might know what it is, and at the very least post a title, so that I can search for that. If at all possible, a track list would be incredible. I have listened to some of it, but so far I haven't recognized any tracks. They sound like stuff that would have been on Actung Baby. I did trade someone on this forum to get this, but I can't remember who. (Sorry :() Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will help, but do a search on Ebay and see if your "demo" shows up.

Thanks! I can't believe that I didn't think of that. The set is called The Actung Baby Outtakes. There was even a track list in the description:

Edited to update to a (hopefully) more accurate track listing

When Musicmatch prompts you to "search" for the album title it cannot find in the search window try some piece of the following title:

Salome: The [Axtung Beibi] Outtakes

which should find it's entry for this CD set. Given the spelling here, this might be why it was hard to find. Submitting that will make sure that others will also be able to have this title come up on their player in addition to loading the title info for you without having to type it in.

This could be a "similar" but not exactly the same CD that you got (import perhaps).

It's not listed on any music store site becouse it's a ....well i really dont want to say it cause it's such a bad word on this board... and causes so much trouble with the moderatores...it rymes with MOOTLEG

Quite possible the coolest thing in the U2 catalog of "stuff"

BTW a 7 CD set has surfaced in the last year or so...
