Have any of my fellow Wilco fans checked out the YHF demos yet? I finally got around to downloading about half this weekend, and hope to get the rest soon. I'm digging them.

Did you read Goldberg's Neumu piece about them? He's supposed to be sending that to me this week. Oh, and it looks like my Tweedy interview is on again. Hopefully it'll work out.

Cool article. I spent more time reading that article than I will listening to whatever the single ends up being. (Until this fall, when I'll faintly hear it as work out in the gym.)

Yes, I actually just read the Goldberg article yesterday. In fact, that's what motivated me to finally track down the demos. I expected them to be extremely lo-fi rough sketches of the songs that made it onto YHF, but they basically just sound like completed alternate versions. There are also some nice songs that didn't make it onto YHF at all, including two tracks that can be found on that boring Jay Bennett album.

Yeah, I really can't wait to hear it. He better get it out to me soon!

I read the Neumu piece on the YHF demos, did some searching for them but still haven't found anything. Would one of you mind emailing me the website where they can be found?
