The Boss just announced his tour dates...does anyone know if a presale will take place (and passwords)?

No presale.

One group that BS absolutely refuses to acknowledge (unlike such bands as the GD, PJ, or U2) is his rabid fan base of diehards; you know, those of us who feel deprived if we got in to only three of the five Christmas shows:).

No passwords, no fanclub or newletter presales, nada. They go on sale when they go on sale, i.e., the next two Saturdays for the US dates.....

There may not be for this tour, but on the last one VH1 had a pre-sale for his shows.

You can damn well bet I shall be at the Toronto show.

is it worth it to fork over 75 bucks or is this gonna be the same concert i bought on dvd for 29.99.

Consider:

it's to promote an album with 15 new songs

it's only one show per city, at least until spring of 2003

the prices that other major acts are charging for just the mediocre seats

are his shows better live than on tv.

The energy and excitement are hard to beat :)

I dunno. Is it worth it to go to an NFL playoff game when you could watch it on TV for free? Is it worth it to go to Paris and tour the Louvre when you can just look at a picture of the Mona Lisa in a book? Is it worth it to have sex with someone when you can just rent a porno intead? ;)

Does anybody know if an onsale date has been announced for the Chicago show?

As far as I know, there's no word at all on the Chicago date.
