Anyone here heard Beck's new song "The Golden Age"?
If you go to beck.com you can hear one of his new songs "the Golden Age". It the second paragraph down and you have to click on a graphic that looks like a hand holding a berry or something. Anyway I like the song alot, has the same feel as alot of his songs off Mutations (Which is my favorite Beck ablumn) so I'm really looking forward to the new one. Anyway the new ablumn comes out Sept 24.
Let me know if you like the song

"Midnite Vultures" was hands-down Beck's masterpiece.
I, too, weep for the loss of the psychedelic white-boy funk that could have been.

I actually heard the new single on San Fran's Live 105 about a month ago. They never played it again, to my knowledge. Dunno, mixed reaction on my first listen, but thejn it always take more than 1 listen for it to sink in.

With Odelay, I felt he had sold out, and I would never give him a chance again. I will listen to his older and much better albums like One Foot In the Grave though. But I'll never buy another one of his albums.
