Any artists recommendation I should look into? Thanks

You might give Tahiti 80's Puzzle a try, they have some pretty catchy stuff... Air's Moon Safari is also great, but might be a bit heavy on the electro side. Mellow's Another Mellow Spring is also fun poppy material, if a bit slower. Btw, they all sing in English...

Manu Chao is from France, but his songs are in several languages. He's incredible.

I like Les Nubians...a modern R&B style band but much better than the American modern R&B.

It's not really french pop- but April March's 'Chrominance Decoder' and Stereolab's 'Dots and Loops' are pretty cool.

Also the Amelie soundtrack has some great music on it.

Vanessa Paradis, has the bonus of being hot as hell and johnny depp's gf.
Sterolab are cool

I love MC Solaar, this guys is spectacular.

Not Pop by any means, not hardly French although they come from there...and one of the most remarkable musical entities in existence:

Lots of great French prog bands. If you're looking for music sung in the French language, check out Atoll, Halloween, Ange, and Skryvania.
