Other than scalping of course. I think these sold for 30 bucks at ticketmaster when they first came out. I don't want to have to go to the concert and try to find someone selling tickets only to have to pay like 50 dollars. Any suggestions?

check the ticket booth of the place holding the event an hour or so before the show. They always release last minute tickets which usually are really close to the stage.

mlj: Does this nearly always happen? Also, do they overcharge a lot? Like the tickets were only 24 dollars, how much would you think they'd be an hour beforehand?

The tickets that are release are one that were not used or added seats
because of stage configuration is smaller etc.

They are the original cost of the ticket. So a $24 would be $24.
These tickets can become available from 48 hours up to 1 hour
before showtime. It depends on when the band or promotors
decide to release them.

I have bought tickets 6 hours before a show and sat in the 3rd row. I have
bought them a day before and sat pretty much in the same spot.

radio stations usually give away tix to a big show like this so just listen in and be the 9th caller.
