Looking for a Pearl Jam poster
I know this is a long shot, but I figured maybe someone here can help me out. I'm looking for a Pearl Jam poster by Ames Bros from the 10-7-96 show in Ft. Lauderdale. It was my first PJ show and unfortunately I didn't buy the poster then OR in the subsequent months from 10club when it was available for $10. Now going rate on these things in mint hovers around $150. I could buy signed and numbered from the artist for $200. But that's beyond my budget right now. I got outbid on ebay trying to get one with pinholes in it for $75. If anyone happens to have one they want to sell or can find one at a rock memorabilia shop near them (cause there are tons of those), I'd be very appreciative. Like I said, I can't pay much, but maybe I'd trade my AoD LE or the Halloween LE and some cash? Little Shop of Horrors OOP? Or I could just pay straight up, but not for $150. Anyone?

While you're looking, if you come upon a 98 West Palm Beach poster, give me a hollar! Had the chance to get one for $20 2 years ago, but was a moron...

I was lucky enough to get the 98 poster from some kinda soul for face value back in 2000. Funny thing is I finally got smart and bought the poster at the show in 2000, and I think it's the ugliest one of the bunch. Oh well.

That one's pretty rare, only 400 I think.
The best I can do is point you in the right direction. If you haven't checked out the Pearl Jam Poster Archive, there's a club of poster collectors: http://pjposters.tripod.com/ Maybe try posting on the Pearl Jam msg board http://bbs.sonymusic.com/wwwthreads....list&Board=Jam GL, sorry if you've checked these already. I have 4 PJ posters myself |
