The Rock and Roll tour of the summer... Purple/Scorps/Dio or Roth/Hagar?

I want to see both of these tours, but I'm partial to the Deep Purple/Scorpions/Dio tour since Purple and Dio are two of my all time favorite bands - and Dio's new album (Killing The Dragon) is his best since The Last In Line!

But I'm willing to bet that the Roth/Hagar tour will be VERY entertaining.

Which one are you looking forward to?

Purple/Scorps/Dio is tomorrow night here, and if it doesn't rain I may go for lawn seats. Fat chance of that, though.

*clears throat* Ahem.....

Can you explain to me why you didn't bother putting Rush on there? I'm going to see Rush in two weeks.

I think that can be included as "other" (see above).

Given the choice between the two, I'll take the sharp stick in the eardrum option...

Roth/Hagar.

But to be honest, most all the 80's HM bands are worth seeing.
