Underrated Rush songs
 

I'm curious what other Rush fans think are highly underrated Rush songs. Just off the top of my head I'd say
1)Everyday Glory. Counterparts as a whole is somewhat underrated but I really dig this song
2)Carve Away The Stone. One of the few good songs on TFE. It's a shame it didn't get played during the tour.
3)Different Strings. When most people think Permanent Waves they think Spirit of the Radio, Freewill or Natural Science. Those are all great songs but Different Strings is a great song as well
4)The Weapon and Countdown. Overshadowed by Subdivisions and New World Man but both excellent songs
5)Witch Hunt. Much like the Weapon and Countdown, this one was overshadowed by Tom Sawyer, Limelight and YYZ. The best version is the one on A Show of Hands though. Simply incredible
Others that I may say are underrated are Turn the Page and A Passage to Bangkok but I tend to think those are fairly popular as is.

Oh baby time for me to sink my teeth into this one.

In no particular order...

Losing It - Haunting synth riff, wonderful dark lyrics, a great song.

Countdown - Just a damn cool song, I hope they dig this one out and play it for the tour.

Entre Nous - The riff gets me again.

The problem is that MOST RUSH stuff is underrated. Just because they didn't release it as a single doesn't mean it sucks or is just filller for the cd.

Many of these are overlooked. Others are just not popular with RUSH fans.


But I love 'em!

Stick it out....Most RUSH fans I know hate this song and that's too bad because it's great

Lakeside Park... You have to listen to this song Mid-Summer with all the lights out in the house and a warm breeze coming through the window....

Although not a big Rush fan, I've always liked "Manhattan Project", which never was a well-known tune.
