(Edited) What would you do if your favourite artist was to out him or herself as gay? Would you be pissed? Would you burn their albums or just shrug and keep listening?

Well, Stipes gay and I still like R.E.M. so I don't really think it would matter one way or the other...

Their sexual preferences should have no bearing over liking them. As long as they keep rocking, that's all that matters.

I have no problem with it, but when a gay artist sings a love song it makes me wonder.....

If you really think it's true that revealing one's homosexuality has no bearing on whether the fanbase will continue following a particular artist, then why do you think it's so difficult for some artists to come out?

And why is it different in the case of actors/actresses? Or is it?

My favorite singer Maynard James Keenan has gotten pretty close to that borderline many times dressing like a woman :D :lol:
But to answer the question, absolutely not. It wouldnt affect my listening to them one single bit.

Well considering that one of my favorite bands is Emperor and the drummer(?) killed a homosexual and if he or any of his bandmates were to come out, then I'd be very very shocked. But it wouldn't stop my from listening to them.

I'd find it hilarious is Eminem outted himself. Consdering his history with gay's.

Would have no effect on me. What they do in the bedroom is between them and their SO. Long as the music is good why should I care?
