New Sonic Youth

Welp, to all those interested: According to www.sonicyouth.com the new album entitled "Murray St." will be out in late June/early July.

Of course if noone here likes em, this was a complete and utter waste of time

Hopefully this one will be better than NYC Ghosts And Flowers. Although the tour for that record was very good. Supposedly they are going to tour later this year as well.

Bite your tongue.

I've seen Sonic Youth about 4 times. I'm always interested in their latest collection.

Actually I thought NYC Ghosts and Flowers was alright. Strange yeah, but good.
The tour was very good though. Saw em when they opened for Pearl Jam. One of my favorite shows ever.

The Youth rule. I'll never forget the instrumental set I got to witness at the Knitting Factory in NYC a couple of years back. ****ing brilliant. Five buck show too.

I saw them on their tour supporting their Washing Machine album... entertaining and very very noisy!

Was this on tv? I saw em a few months ago on the station Trio? or something. It was all instrumental, and it was in a pretty small venue if I remember correctly.

Just a reminder: Murray St. hits stores tomorrow. Early reviews I have seen look pretty good.
