The Tom Angelripper album 'Ein Shoner Tag' is killer! Metal versions of German beer drinking songs.

For basic cover versions, Skyclad has done several excellent ones. Thier version of Ten Pole Tudors 'Swords of a Thousand Men' is great. Also check out thier version of 'Come On Eileen'.
