Eh, I'm with you on the Britney comment, but Shakira does write her own songs, and I've seen her playing guitar on shows a couple of times. I think that qualifies her as a musician. And she is hot. :D

whoa, now hold up man! Don't get confused by Shakira's videos being played on TRL, she is most definitely a musician. She has been writing, playing, producing, playing, her own music for about 12 years now. This just happens to be her first english language american album. She's an artist!!

And, yeah, she's hot as hell too!

and with that... I'll throw my vote in for Shakira :)
