Devo - Satisfaction.
There's a CD called "Punk goes 80's" that's about a year old. It's the best cover CD I've ever listened to. Every cover is great. |
I've been an avid listener to Coverville for quite some time. They had a great cover of John Lennon's Imagine not too long ago. It was covered by the band Smoke City. I loved it.

ALL's cover of Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" is worth seeking out.

I like Seu Jorge's cover of "Life on Mars" (David Bowie).
It sounds sweet in Portugeuse. |
Deftones covering "simple man", "please please please let me get what i want", "no ordinary love", "the chauffeur" & "jealous guy"

How about some love for Nick Cave? His cover of Elvis' In The Ghetto for me it's superior and the musical arrangement fits the lyrical theme much better than the original. The King version is alright too, but after hearing both so many times the definitive version for me is Cave's.
