heard them on the radio today, but i don't know who sings them.

one is a rock song where the chorus sounds like a choir of kids singing "we are, we are...we're gonna let it shine" (or something like that)

other one is a kind of alternative rock song, female singer, chorus is "<something something> complicated; <something something> frustrated>. i thinkt the name of the song is "complicated", but it is NOT the song by country singer Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

If you want a anwer to the first one all you have to do is go to the Music Forum and look down alittle and people are talking about that "retarded" song. :)

ah, didn't even know we had a music forum. :) i'll go post there then...any idea what the second song is? heh, i only started hearing that first song on the radio recently, so i haven't gotten sick of it yet, although i'm sure i will since it's not particulary lyrically interesting.

The only Alternative rock type girl on the radio that I can think of is Alannis Morresite(i know I am butchering her name :) ) here new song is called Hands Clean. Maybe thats it.

Damn that song, I hate it. That is ALWAYS on the radio, and it seems like a continuation of the last song that she had (her only other hit). Just her whining about boyfriends...sheesh.

nope, definitely not alanis. it had a seattle bar band kind of feel to the song, but a bit more refined and polished.

im pretty sure that the first one is that POD song, cant remember the title of it. but its been out for awhile.

The first one is POD, "Youth of a Nation", and I think the second one is by Garbage.
