My first REAL concert (that I bought tickets to) was Tom Petty in I think '95.

Guns N' Roses, April 6, 1992, Myriad Arena, Oklahoma City.
Smashing Pumpkins, virtually an unknown band at the time (at least in Oklahoma, and compared to GN'R), opened for GN'R and were booed off the stage maybe 20-25 minutes into their set.
