Most of those bands I can't stand, but since I'm a sucker for cover songs, I'll be buying this.

I can't stand Further Seems Forever, The Starting Line, Rufio, and Yellowcard. Blech.

I agree that most of those bands are horrible. Slick Shoes was ok until Jackson left...now they suck big time.

I don't know a lot of the bands but I like Further Seems Forever a lot. I like Slick Shoes, Thrice is Awesome. Stretch Armstrong is cool. Showoff is pretty cool.

I've heard some Rufio and Starting Line, and think they're "ok". I don't really like or hate them...

The rest of them I don't know... so I can't say if they suck or not.

This albums pretty lame. A whole album of cover songs gets pretty boring quickly after the novelty wears off. The only song that really stood out for me was Thrice's. I won't be buying this.

Just in case anyone cares there is another series of punk covers of pop songs on a german label called Wolverine Records. They are called Punk Chartbusters volumes 1-4. Volume 3 and 4 are 2 discs sets and i know Borders B&M sold the 2 discers for like 17.99. They are pretty cool with a ton of tracks covering old and new pop songs (i think volume 4 has 27 tracks on disc one and 26 on disc two).

I'm a sucker for covers though and the three Me First and the Gimme Gimmes discs just weren't enough - although i actually think i like the Punk Chartbusters line better than MF&GG.

The only bad thing about these CD's is a lot of the songs aren't even sung in English.

I really didn't notice that many not in english - 1, maybe 2 tracks per disc (out of 26-28 on the disc). A few of the ones in german though are just as cool - especially the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weenie Honolulu Striped Bikini one.
