"Flash" by Queen. It's the perfect testament to my greatness.
On a more serious note, as morbid as it sounds, I've told all my friends that I want "Amazing Grace" played on the bagpipes when I kick it. Played out? Sure. Beautiful? Definitely.

Golden Slumbers - The Beatles
Riviera Paradise - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Dear Friends - Queen
That last one is probably Queen's shortest song:
"So dear friends, your love is gone
Only tears to dwell upon
I dare not say, as the wind must blow
So a love is lost, a love is won
Go to sleep and dream again
Soon your hopes will rise, and then
From all this gloom life can start anew
And there'll be no crying soon"

It's not something I think about too often, but Joy Division's 'Decades' always strikes me as a good choice. The keyboard and overall feel of the song suggests a funeral. Plus, since it's the last song on their last album (released after Ian's suicide...) it always carries an air of finality to it, being "the last Joy Division song," Even though that's not entirely true, but whatever.
Other than that, I'd probably just have a more ambient thing going on.

Kristin Hersh - The Holy Single played in it's entirety
1. Jesus Christ (Alex Chilton cover)
2. Amazing Grace (trad.)
3. Sinkhole
4. Can the Circle Be Unbroken (Carter Family cover)
Sure, maybe Sinkhole doesn't fall into the funeral mold like the others, but it's a kick-ass song.

For me, Pink Floyd's Great Gig In The Sky, or Albinoni's Adagio.
If I could, I'd force everybody to shroom out and watch the tornado scene from Wizard of Oz at the same time, too.
I think God Only Knows if a gorgeous song, but might be a bit too rough on the attendees, as has been mentioned above.
This came up as a topic on a local talk radio station, and a caller said he wanted Mike and the Mechanics' In The Living Years to guilt his kids.

Awesome, awesome movie.
It's Green Day - Time of Your Life at my funeral. Either that song or Waiting.

"Funeral Party" The Cure
Seriously
Green Day"Time Of Your Life"
The Cure "Untitled" or "Close Down" or even "Disintegration" from Disintegration; or "Three" from Seventeen Seconds

For instrumental stuff, I'd have to go with Steve Vai. It would be either "Call it Sleep", "For the Love of God", or "Tender Surrender". Tough choice as they are all great guitar ballads...two of which deal directly with the subject matter.
