What are THE top 10 Led Zeppelin songs?

Im making a compilation album for someone and they are a big fan of Led Zep. Problem is, i have NO CLUE on the 'REALLY GOOD' Zep songs compared to the 'average' ones.

Please help! What are the top 10 Led Zeppelin songs that any fan would LOVE?

Some of these choices are a bit... esoteric. While a true fan would probably love them, I'd say the following need to be on any Led Zep compilation:

Stairway to Heaven
Dazed and Confused
Black Dog
Misty Mountian Hop
Kashmir
Houses of the Holy
All My Love
Good Times Bad Times
Rock and Roll
Whole Lotta Love
Thank You

My two all-time favorite Zep discs are the Remasters collection, basically a paring down of the four-disc box set. You could easily do worse than just picking songs off this list to round out the disc. It has:

Communication Breakdown
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
Good Time Bad Times
Dazed and Confused
Whole Lotta Love
Heartbreaker
Ramble On
Immigrant Song
Celebration Day
Since I've Been Loving You
Black Dog
Rock and Roll
Battle of Evermore
Misty Mountian Hop
Stairway to Heaven

Song Remains the Same
Rain Song
D'yer Maker
No Quarter
Houses of the Holy
Kashmir
Trampled Underfoot
Nobody's Fault but Mine
Achilles Last Stand
All My Love
In the Evening

Some songs I particularly like that's not on those two discs:
Tangerine
Thank You
Dancing Days

...man, Led Zep has quite the back catalog...

Who's better suited to answer this than me? Problem is that 10 is just too little, and really, you should be able to get about 12-15 on a CD (depending on 80 minute cd-r and song choice).

Ten Years Gone
Since I Been Lovin You
The Rain Song
Out on the Tiles
That's the Way
All My Love
Kashmir
Achilles Last Stand
Stairway to Heaven
Over the Hills
Hey Hey What Can I Do?
Black Dog
Rock and Roll
The Song Remains the Same
What is and What Should Never Be

And OH SO MANY MORE.

I really just can't narrow it down. I do have to say though, that Ten Years Gone is my fav song, and really, there is nothing musically better and more deep that they ever did in my opinion. I can't say enough about the composition, lyrics, and feeling in that song. Damn...now I have to put this damn Neptunes CD away and bust out the Zep Records...

it's always hard for me to narrow down my top 10 favorites. my top 2 are always the same, but here's my best shot:

1. When The Levee Breaks
2. The Ocean
3. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
4. Tangerine
5. Kashmir
6. Stairway To Heaven
7. Heartbreaker
8. Living Loving Maid (She's Just A Woman)
9. In The Light
10. Boogie With Stu

Here are the first ten great Zep songs that came to mind. Chronological order.

Good Times Bad Times
Your Time Is Gonna Come

Living Loving Maid (She's Just A Woman)
Ramble On

Tangerine

Stairway To Heaven

The Song Remains The Same
The Rain Song

In The Light
Ten Years Gone (listen to this one if you're not familiar with it)

(By the way, have you noticed how Robert Plants seemed to have an obsession with either "giving" or "receiving" love in the earlier Zep songs? It's funny how often this theme crops up in the band's work.)

Eh, opinions are like *******s...

It happens to not only be my all time favorite Zeppelin song, but flirts with being my all time favorite song by anyone. No joke. It really gets me like that.

My favorite tracks...

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Gallows Pole
In My Time of Dying
Tangerine
Hey Hey What Can I Do
Communication Breakdown
D'yer Mak'er
All My Love
Fool in the Rain
Traveling Riverside Blues

Least favorites...most of the "radio" tunes. Rock n Roll, Black Dog, Heartbreaker, etc. Though Stairway to Heaven is a decent song...a little overplayed but a good track. I tend to like Zeppelin better when Plant sings (though there are exceptions)...the screeching banshee thing gets a bit old to me...
