Buckaroo Banzai End Credits Theme
I don't know why, but I simply cannot stop listening to this theme. I have been litterally listening to it constantly for the past day and a half or so.

Ah, the Buckaroo Banzai March.
This is one of the reasons I saw this in the theater over a dozen times in the summer of '84. It just made me feel so lighthearted and happy. Plus it was nice to see that Rawhide wasn't really dead :D I have a copy of this music I found on Napster before it was sued into oblivion. I'm still trying to find an inexpensive copy of the soundtrack (maybe some enterprising soul can burn it for me...). |
I was able to get an mp3 of it off the web and could probably do the same by capturing the music off of my DVD.
I was under the impression that there was never a soundtrack released, at least that is what I thought the director said in one of the special features. |
I thought I was the OnLY one
WOW so cool...
I love the DVD. The music and the features are so great. I even transfered the audio from the DVD to audio cassette. (All you need is to run your RED & WHITE rca wires into a stereo) I think that The HONG KONG cavaliers are the best movie bad ever. |

If I had been marketing the movie, that soundtrack would have been released on clear yellow vinyl, and would have come with those special "glasses" with which to watch John Emdall's message. :D |

Re: Buckaroo Banzai End Credits Theme
I do believe they didn't have the closing credits song ready to play when filming that sequence, and instead were listening to 'Uptown Girl' by Billy Joel because it had the same tempo.
