NIN DVD Easter eggs!
 

I found this on the newsgroup and I actually got a few of them to work(gave up and the ninetynine trailer).



Manson Appearance (Star****ers/Beautiful People)
=============================================
Insert Disk 2
Go to Selected Tracks
Select Star****ers
Fast forward to section where Trent Sings "I bet you think this song is
about you, don't you, don't you..."
When he starts yelling "don't you, don't you, don't you" and right before
Robin plays his little solo repeated hit the Enter button.
The DVD will freeze and show the New York show!!!

ninetynine commercial
=============================================Insert Disk 2
Go To Supplemental Information
Move down to Main Menu
Press LEFT >> UP >> ENTER
Commercial will play

Gave Up (Big Day Out??)
=============================================
Insert Disk 1
Go to Selected Tracks
Select Gave Up
Around 10 seconds into it hit ENTER key
Different Show of Gave Up will play

First, start like you are going to watch the ninetynine commercial...
Insert Disk 2
Go to Supplemental Information
Move down to Main Menu
Press LEFT then UP then ENTER
Now, immediately move up or down chapters to access the following (you have
to do this quickly, i start mashing on the track down button immediately
after hitting enter)
title 5 chapter 3 reptile
title 5 chapter 4 the fragile trailer
title 5 chapter 5 things falling apart trailer
title 5 chapter 7 manson footage (star****ers/beautiful people)
title 5 chapter 9 ninetynine trailer
title 5 chapter 10 the day the world went away video (awesome!)

Just got the manson appearence to work, and did the ninetynine commercial. AWESOME.

I used Power DVD to check out these extras, so maybe it was easier for me. But on the main menu, I just right clicked, Go To... Title 5... and selected whatever chapter I wanted. And found all that stuff. Excellent. I'm gonna check out the first disc now.

Tried the Gave Up alternate video, that worked. Couldn't find anything else on the first disc. Gimmie more easter eggs! More More! This is fun!

Here's how you can access 'Reptile' without having to deal with the titles and chapters:

During 'Suck,' when the counter hits 1:06, hit Up and then Enter on your remote. 'Reptile' should start playing.

I found this easter egg on another forum and tried out on my Toshiba and it worked fine.

Just saw this at alt.discuss.nin:

On "Head Like a Hole" at around 11:19 hit the number 7 on your remote. This will take you to the hidden features menu without having to go through all that other crap...

Sweet!!!!!! I just did it! Thanks.:)

No prob....I just wonder if someone was so bored they went through every song and hit every key til it worked. :)
