I am SOOOOO looking forward to the new album. The little snippets of it that I've heard thus far are simply amazing. :)

Monica,

How 'bout a quickie review of the samplers?

Sorry it took so long. I've been looking for girls for the otter challenge.

Misunderstood
The edit is 5:13 the album version is 9:34

It starts off very mellow with just John P. and James. Slowly Jordan comes in with a simple yet interesting string arangement. There is a new feel to this song. A friend of mine who is Radiohead fan said it sounded a lot like them. It turns pretty heavy about half way through (Half way through my 5:13 version). The album version's outro is supposed to be very experimental. I'm really looknig foward to hearing this whole song just from what I've heard so far, although it's not likely to be one of my favorites. Should be really interesting.

Blind Faith
Edit 5:20 Album 10:21

Starts off kind of airy or spacey, then settles into a pretty basic riff
but great drums behind it keeping it from being ordinary. The song takes a couple subtle changes as it goes on. Of course I only have about half the song so it's hard to say to much about it. James sound really good on this one.

The last 2 are from Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence 42:04

VI Solitary Shell
Edit 4:09 Album 5:48
I love this song. Great melody, great chorus, I can't wait to hear the rest of this segment, and how it fits in with the rest of the song.

IV The test that stumped them all
Edit 5:00 Album 5:03
This segment starts off with a crazy "liquid tension experiment" kind of intro and stays heavy through out, not as heavy as The Glass Prison, but still pounding.

If you haven't heard The Glass Prison yet you got to get it. I got it off of Limewire. It's incredible.

I think Six Degrees is going to come off great. Some really long songs start to just drag on to me and start to repeat itself. It's like whoever just wanted to make a long song. I think this song is just going to fly by like Change of Seasons does.

[ I know VI and IV are backwards but that is how they are on this cd]
