Jay Z Unplugged

Throughout the day I will be putting up new tracks from his new CD at my site. If you're interested in hearing the album a couple of weeks before it comes out, just click on the WWW icon above my post.

Enjoy

How the hell can R&B artists have "Unplugged" sessions?

This concept is way beyond me.

I've been listening the album a lot lately and I think it turned out great. Jay-Z performing with The Roots as his backing band and Jaguar on background vocals.

He mostly does stuff of The Blueprint but Mary J. BLige joins him on "Can't Knock The Hustle" off his first record.

He does a little medley of Can I Get A/Hard Knock Life/Ain't No Ni**a which is cool because each track gets maybe a minute or so.

A studio track "People Talkin" is included at the end of the last unplugged song "Jigga That Ni**a".

This show doesn't have the energy that LL's did ten years ago but it's good in its own right.

as someone from pennsylvania, you should be proud of the roots.

i mean, i was never the greatest nirvana/pearl jam fan, but at least i was proud - and somewhat knowledgeable of their music.
