Good Place to Find Concert CDs?
I'm looking for a good place to find concerts from my favorite bands...eBay is looking sorta shady right now..and no one has the bands I'm looking for..
I'm looking for classic rock bands
The Dead
The Doors
Hendrix
etc
Any help?
(I have a 56K so MP3 is impossible)

Don't know if you'll find Doors here, maybe Hendrix, definitely dead: www.etree.org
It's a discussion group, mostly for downloading shn files (which are 10 times bigger than MP3's!!!) they are much better quality, no compression. You would need to sign up for the discussion group, and try to log onto FTP servers that people post logins to. However they're really busy, hard to get into. And the shows can be 1.5 GB each.
Since this is out of the question (for you), you could probably find someone who will do a B&P for you... B&P stands for Blanks and Postage. Basically you set up a 'trade' but all you send is blank CD's and a return envelope with postage ( www.etree.org/bnp ).
Now, the hard part is setting up the B&P with someone... you might try looking for a particular show on the database, which is at http://db.etree.org and trying to get in contact with someone there. Don't get discouraged if you don't get a response, eventually someone will hook you up!
Hope this helps a bit, not sure if this was what you're looking for or not.
The best thing is, is it's totally free! (well, except for postage and the cost of CD's)
I'd offer to do some for you but don't have any of those you mentioned... mostly DMB, Ben Harper, Guster and David Gray.

The Bright Midnight ones are professionally done and are worth the money - considering how much you would pay for a crappy bootleg-
Also there is a legitimate Hendrix bootleg company licensed by his family - those sound good too
Go to- www.jimi-hendrix.com and click on Dagger Records.
