Videos that creep me out

One of the many of recent:

the new System of a Down video. The guitarist is.....ummmm....creepy.

SnoopDogg 10-20-01 08:21 AM

Great video, great song :)

uberjoe 10-21-01 12:10 AM

Anything with Michael Jackson in it. The horror...

freedexter 10-21-01 12:18 AM

Metallica's "One". I know it's just clips of that movie based on the creepy book, but I never read/saw the thing. And I won't. It's so haunting...(shudder)

Static Cling 10-21-01 12:18 AM

When I was a kid, Thriller creeped me out to no end. Ugh. Terrified me. Now I love it, though.

Oh, man, I know what you mean. "Johnny Got His Gun." Yeek. Imagine living like that... being contained in your body, and not being able to reach out and communicate in any way but blinking your eyes. That'd be tough, to say the least.

Haven't seen the new System of a Down video. Is it the video for Chop Suey?

Leechboy 10-21-01 01:43 AM

Nine Inch Nails "Pinion". You will think about it everytime you flush the toilet.

pantala 10-21-01 01:49 AM

Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin.

Yes. The guitarist looks like a cherub gone bad.

Honorable mention goes to anything by slipknot.

the bald headed guy, right? That's Shavo. He's the bassist, or do you mean the guitarist Daron? They are both freaky looking to be honest with you. :)

Oh man! You've got that one right!

That's the one with all of the little girls with the middle-aged guy's face, right?

Yes, deftones, the bald one with the full-body tattoo. He has issues.

The robots are gonna get me...

MJKTool 10-21-01 10:32 PM

Prison Sex - Tool

Very disturbing video about child abuse.

Grimfarrow 10-22-01 12:27 AM

Nothing is as creepy as Come to Daddy by Aphex Twins. Good call, Pantala.

For those that might not have had the pleasure of seeing Come To Daddy...

http://www.director-file.com/cunningham/5263.jpg Little people that all have Aphex Twin's face. (Yes, he really looks like that.)
http://www.director-file.com/cunningham/5264.jpg
http://www.director-file.com/cunningham/5266.jpg Possibly the most disturbing part of the video. This alien creature and old woman have a screaming contest, which seems to last about 10 minutes the first time you see the video. I recall that the second time I saw the video, it didn't seem to last nearly as long.

One of his other videos, Window Licker (not suitable for airing in the United States) is absolutely hilarious, while still disturbing.

I saw the movie. It's every bit as disturbing and intense as it seems in the video. Pretty much the whole thing is that guy in the bed.

einTier 10-22-01 12:45 PM

Well, Nine Inch Nail's Pinion is pretty bad, but I wonder if anyone's seen the video to "Happiness in Slavery"? That one was far more disturbing to me.

Also, Marilyn Manson's video for "Sweet Dreams" is pretty disturbing too. The first time I saw it, it actually scared me in the sense that I really felt like I shouldn't be watching it.

Trout 10-22-01 02:37 PM

What was that video by Skinny Puppy? It was all clips from various horror flicks.

BTW, I just saw the new Michael Jackson video and I was wondering if his face was looking very freaky or was it just me?

It wasnt just you, the guy looks like an alien now

There was a video a couple of years ago from Unkle called "Rabbit in your Headlights". The video was of this guy walking through this busy tunnel and cars keep hitting him. Most of the hits looked real and it was real creepy how he keeps getting back up just to get hit again. Finally this car looks like it's really gonna destroy him but he holds his arms out (somewhat like he is crucified) and the car, in slow motion, hits him. The guy just stands there while it looks like the car is hitting a telephone poll at about 80 mph.
