anyone getting Psychedelic Furs: Live From the House of Blues, tommorow??
 

I've yet to see a thread or even any acknowledgement that this great concert DVD is being released tommorow. I was happy to have attended that show and I noticed it playing yesterday on DirecTV (every Fri., Sat. and Sun in October on Channel 103 for free!!!). I saw the commercial for the DVD as well on DirecTV and am dying to own this.

Sure I can tape it from DirecTV, but despite having clear digital quality on sattelite, you still have to save it onto cr@p videotape so I'd much rather own a clear ungrainy image. Plus I'm also thrilled that me and the wife can be seen in the crowd:).

don't understand why this was moved to the DVD-Audio folder as this is a DVD video release.

Wow! I hadn't heard of this one. How do they sound now? How did Sister Europe come out? How's Butler's voice? Is it 5.1?

If the answers to these questions are: great, tight, still right on and yes, then I'm gonna have ta get this one. Thanks for the post!! Glad I saw it before it was buried in the wrong category.

Well, I went to Best Buy to get my Ep.1 and I was also planning to pick the Psych Furs up. None on the shelf at all! I asked the clerk to check on his computer. It not only bothered me that he asked me to spell their name but then mistyped "Furs". Theyr'e not that old! Then the clerk tells me that it's not out yet!!! he says only the CD is in stock. Dumass.

What I ended up doing is ordering it from amazon. According to them, it is indeed out and ready to ship.

By the way, Butlers voice is incredible. I happened to be there in the front during the performance so that memory is more ingrained than the DVD. I just couldn't beleive how energetic he still was. I wrote a review over at Amazon.com for the DVD, so I suggest you read it as well. :)
