Shirley Manson's new look on Letterman - WTF?

What in the hell is up with Shirley Manson's new look? Her hair is atrocious! Her clothes are leftovers from the punk-era 80s! She had to pull up her pants to keep them from falling down! I haven't picked up the new Garbage CD yet but that song they performed tonight sucked as well. What the heck is up with this new crap?

I caught the last part of their performance last night. I'm not sure what to think about her new look, although she looks pretty good in the video for the song(Androgeny).

I like the new CD, it's certainly differnt, but in a good way IMO.

She's hot, yes, but she's never looked as good as she did durng the early part of the first album's release:

Though she looked really good here, at the VH1 awards show:
Linked 'cause it's mature

Should anyone want to see exactly what I'm talking about, CBS is repeating the episode in question right now. Garbage performs around 11:30pm Central.

The new album didnt immediately grab me like the old stuff -- ill see how it holds up over time.

I did see them live and got to meet them - the show was awesome.

Also Butch and Doug froim Garbage were in a great 80's americana band called Fire Town - check the used/out of print bin for their first album "in the heart of the heart country" it was great!

I love the self-titled Angelfish CD. Is that the only disc that band ever recorded?

How did that band compare with Garbage and Angelfish? Also, how many CDs did Goodbye Mr. MacKenzie record (with Shirley of course)?

Saw GMM when I was at college. They were supporting The Blow Monkeys who I loved but GMM had a few good tunes particularly The Rattler I seem to remember. Never got as far as their albums myself but they had a good anthemic type sound, pop with a touch of protest about it.

Shirley used to be hot, now she looks like one of those weird, skanky girls you see walking around a college campus. Shirley change the look quickly, PLEASE!!!
