No imminent release date in the US from what I'm told. I can't wait, so I'll have to buy it on import. Very anxious.

You got my attention. When is it coming out? NME doesn't seem to want to load.

It's a shame they don't get any airplay, though it isn't for lack of trying on my part. I keep bugging the local 80s, 90s, and more station to play Common People, Underwear, or anything else they come across. I even offered to come to the station and personally hand them a Pulp CD.

But they declined, the bastards.

I saw the video for "The Trees". The song is interesting....kinda more like the 80's Pulp. I'm definitely anxious to get this new CD. Too bad it wasn't released yet when I was in Hong Kong....

Unfortuantely the new Pulp CD isn't being released in the U.S.
Small wonder considering it's not teen pop,nu-metal/aggro, or thug rap, all the acceptable genres the U.S. music industry says we have to be into.

I already ordered my copy from http://www.amazon.co.uk as well as the new Gene CD which comes out on the same day. I suggest you guys here in the U.S. do the same (or else go to the local cool record shoppe). tree's is an awesome song as is "wickerman" and "origin of the Species". I'm eagerly awaiting this one. Still, my heart is with Gene as their CD really needs to suceed as they are self-releasing it. Pulp can fall back on the record labe picking up the tab for releasing it.
