Why dont Vinyl releases have more exclusive songs?

I noticed that Luna's live album the vinyl version had three extra songs not found on the CD edition as well as the new Nick Cave and The Bad Seed album. Are there any other newer albums that released exclusive songs just on the 12'?

A Perfect Circle's album had two extended tracks on the vinyl release...can't say which cause I don't have it here with me. Smashing Pumpkins's "Mellon Collie..." had bonus tracks too. I'm sure there are more that I just can't think of. Oh, Queens of the Stone Age's latest has "Ode to Clarissa" on the vinyl version.
