Great disc. That's about it for today.

I just disovered we have this new forum. So...

Question of the Day: Will I (or you) ever venture into "Other" ever again?

Probably, but a whole lot less frequently.

It's interesting to see, as your project progresses, the albums you don't have. I would have expected you to have Frank Black's "Teenager of the Year" if not a few of his others. And where's your Black Eyed Peas? Or Blackalicious for that matter?

Go to the concert if anybody's playing who's huge priority for you to see. Otherwise, go to the party.

I'm not sure what I'm listening to today. Just the radio so far.

Well here is the lineup for the concert:
Alanis Morissette, Cyndi Lauper, Dave Matthews, Lou Reed, Marc Anthony, Moby, Nelly Furtado, Sean Lennon, Shelby Lynne, Stone Temple Pilots, Yolanda Adams, Billy Preston, Craig David, Natalie Merchant, Rufus Wainwright and Sean Lennon. Special segment presenters include Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Julia Stiles, Steve Buscemi and Tim Roth. Kevin Spacey will host the evening. Among the songs(a) confirmed are "In My Life," performed by Dave Matthews; "Revolution," Stone Temple Pilots; "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds," Marc Anthony; "Dear Prudence," Alanis Morissette; and, "Strawberry Fields Forever," Cyndi Lauper. Additional songs to be announced.

I don't know, seeing Lou Reed could be cool. Plus I would get to write a story out of this. I think I am going to go.

And yeah I have weird holes in my record collection. Blackalicious is on vinyl, so that's why it's not listed and I don't really like solo Frank Black that much, although Pistolero has grown on me. I do have a Black Eyed Peas album. But it wasn't there this morning. Maybe one of my roommates took it.

You have a job yet Steve?

See? You just talked yourself into it. It's always nice to talk out a conundrum and come out with a sense you're making the right decision.

Not really, but I'm doing some freelancing. Actually, just one project so far, but it's pretty big.

Still looking for something permanent.

I don't even think I want to watch this on tv, but I probably would go to the concert. My only interest is to see what Lou Reed does - though he can't even get the words right on half of his own songs. What's he gonna do to someone else's? The rest sounds pretty horrible - especially since I really like John Lennon. Plastic Ono Band is one of the greatest records ever.

I haven't played any music today.
