I realize this thread is a bit old, but I'm hoping someone has an answer to my question.
Is this DVD still a go, or has it been postponed/cancelled?
I cannot find any "official" info on this anywhere!!!
I was hoping to buy this DVD for my wife for Christmas since tickets for the show here sold out in 45 minutes! We were unable to get tickets this tour!!!
If anyone has a link to any official information, please post it here!!!

DVD Talk Godfather & 2020 TOTY Winner
It's the #1 "Mover and Shaker" on Amazon today. Release date has been pushed back to 12/4. Otherwise looks on track as before. Interestingly, on Amazon, all the features are written in French. Can't wait to watch Le making-of.

I am very excited about this dvd, it should be spectacular spectacular.
I will be going to the show in Oakland,
Darksidedesign
I am sorry you could not get tickets for your wife.
you could probably overpay on eBay
but your best bet is to go to yahoogroups.com
and sign up for both the u2tickets group and also
the u2-wire groups, and when you subscribe ask on there
someone may be able to help you out

Those of you that are U2 fans and have not been able to get to any of the shows, I'll let you in on a couple things.
Here's the official setlist on the DVD:
• Elevation
• Beautiful Day
• Until the End of the World
• Stuck in a Moment
• Kite
• Gone
• New York
• I Will follow
• Sunday bloody Sunday
• In a little while
• Desire
• Stay
• Bad
• Where the Streets have no Name
• Bullet the blue Sky
• With or Without You
• The Fly
• Wake up dead Man
• Walk On
First, Mysterious Ways, although a great song, was one of the worst on the set. Bono somtimes turned this into a dancefest onstage with women from the audience (see Indianapolis show) and other times he got way off tempo with his lyrics. I love the song but it truly was the weakest portion of the sets I heard. My guess is they realized this.
Second, Desire and Stay (Faraway, So Close!) were typically performed acoustic, with Bono and The Edge circling the stage. These songs were absolutely incredible performed in this manner and will sound that much better on this DVD. My only complaint is that the set does not include All I Want Is You...I love the song Bad but the way they performed AIWIY, it was a much better lead in to Where the Streets Have No Name.
Finally, U2 delivers this show with as much energy as any band I've ever seen in concert. Bono doesn't simply sing to the audience he dances, prances, runs, jumps and screams with them. The crowds in Indy and South Bend (and everywhere I'd assume) fed off of his electricity and energy and made the shows that much more enjoyable and I cannot wait to add this DVD to my collection. Those of you that WILL be going to upcoming shows on the Elevation Tour, be very excited. You have a great show in store for you.

I got my tix for the Notre Dame show via eBay and didn't pay much more than face value for my $85 tix. I would HIGHLY recommend that you look there )or via othre online auction vehicles) because you'll be kicking yourself if you miss them.
Good luck!

Anyone have cover art shots yet? Also weird that no 'official' info on this is available on their website. Wonder what's up with that. Every major music publication has indicated the features, track listing, and release dates, but nothing from the band. Strange...
