I would have to go with "Brazil". It just seemed like a majority of the people that said they liked it were just going along with all the hype. I did like "Fear And Loathing..." and "12 Monkeys", though.

"Brazil" overrated? Good God, man, more like underrated. It's an absolutely brilliant film that has never seen the success that it should have. (My two cents.)

I wish I was as smart as you...then I wouldn't ask such dumb questions.

There are no dumb questions, and there's certainly no need to be nasty about it. If you don't like the topic, there are hundreds of other threads that may be more to your liking.

I will second this. This question is so ridiculous and it has been asked here about a thousand times. Next time do a search and then think twice about posting it again for two reasons. One, since it has been posted before, it really doesn't need to be posted again and two, WHO CARES!

I think Citizen Kane is overrated. I can see why lots of film folks love it, but I just wasn't impressed with it at all.

All Terry Gilliam films are overrated, but they are all better than some of the crap that made more money than his films (12 Monkeys is the best of the bunch IMO).

Found A Better Tommorrow trilogy overrated, especially comparing to Hard Boiled or The Killer, those are classics, ABT is only good.

My 2 bob.

Obviously a lot of people do care. So don't worry about it. Go somewhere else.

what i meant by dumb question is that people ask them, when a hundred of other people already ask the same question.

Make this time the 1001st. It does need to be posted again because it's been a while since the last time someone asked this question.....people have seen more movies since then, and their opinions may have changed, also.

Tell me why this question needs to be asked in the first place. There is no such thing as overrated or underrated, it's all based on personal tastes.
