Its sad news to hear on a Saturday. I'll always know her best from the Father of the Bride movies. RIP

Damn. Shocked to hear it. Thought she was in good health. Terrific funny and talented and always such a warm lovely presence in person.

Man, this one hurts. My first screen crush and honestly felt like she’d live forever.

She was really versatile in the 1970s, making the Godfather films and Woody Allen's broad comedies, and then the great Annie Hall.

I first saw her in LOVERS AND OTHER STRANGERS (1970) in 1971 and she made a very good impression among a cast of outstanding New York comic actors. A year later she was in THE GODFATHER and then some Woody Allen films, culminating in her Oscar win for ANNIE HALL. I've always felt she was the best of Allen's onscreen partners.

ANNIE HALL was her fourth Woody Allen movie. She and I shared the same birthday. Date, not year.

I'm a huge fan of Reds. Think it's right up there with Dr Zhivago. For whatever reason it's kind of faded from public consciousness, but I really like it, and she is great in the film as the center of a love triangle.

Loved her in: Baby Boom, The Godfather, Looking for Mr Goodbar, Mrs Soffel. Marvin's Room, The Only Thrill, The Other Sister, and Something's Gotta Give.

I was never a huge fan of hers, a lot of the movies she made later in life never really appealed to me but I love The Godfather and Annie Hall.

It’s sad to see the cast of The Godfather slowly dying off. All we have left is Pacino, Duvall and Talia Shire.

Oddly enough, I mostly remember her from Baby Boom. I think it’s the first movie I ever saw her in when I was a kid.

Really sad to learn of her death. People reported that her health turn a drastic turn for the worse in recent months. I always enjoyed seeing her in movies and she always delightful in the Father of the Bride movies.

Don't overlook Something's Gotta Give, that's a good movie and Diane Keaton is great in it.

Thanks for the correction. I fixed my post. Funny how memory plays tricks on you...after 50 years! How could I have forgotten SLEEPER and LOVE AND DEATH and...the other one.

Just watched Looking for Mr Goodbar a few months ago. Never saw it, only knew of it by its title, which makes it sound like some kind of romantic comedy, but it's really a dark and fucked up crime/thriller.

I remember watching Transformers: The Move when I was a kid and being puzzled by the line "Look for Mister Goodbar" in Weird Al's song "Dare to be Stupid." I wonder no more.

RIP

Did not know she was having health problems and seemed like a nice person.

Too bad she and Pacino never got married.

Not sure why that matters. It would've ended in divorce anyways.

Just found out that both Keaton and Pacino have never been married to anyone.
