I really enjoyed it too. The only squeamish parts for me where I closed my eyes were at the beginning when she was being super nerdy. Very uncomfortable to watch

We're going as a family this weekend, can't wait! The kids' first R-rated movie was Army of Darkness and they really like Evil Dead and Drag Me to Hell, as well as Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret., and especially in Game Night.

It was kind of ridiculous how frumpy they tried to make her look at the beginning and then how hot she immediately became once they landed on the island.

This was very entertaining. I'd totally be down for more McAdams/Raimi movies.

I enjoyed it. Some great Raimi callbacks. The performances are so good it helps the thin writing in the first act and some bad CGI. Definitely more of a return to form for him.

Wow, we really liked this as a family. Great crowd, lots of yelling at the scares and cringes at the gore and laughter at all of the above. Really glad we saw this in the theater with a crowd, all of us really enjoyed ourselves.

I sat next to a dad wearing the Westerly as featured in The Big Lebowski and when he walked up to me I said, "So you're Lebowski, Lebowski." He looked down and said, "Oh, yeah. I wear it so much I don't even think about it, anymore, thanks for reminding me!" Later during the movie, "Stomping Ground" by Moondog was the underscoring for a montage and I turned to him and said, "This music cue is in The Big Lebowski!" and he said, "You're right!" Indeed, it's in the scene when The Dude breaks the case to Walter on their way to Lebowski's mansion.

Looks like this is doing well and I hope it turns a profit. More movies like this, please!

Wow, I just thought was for the movie, didn't think of it being hers for real.

I had a lot of fun watching this. Few nit picks here and there .

And I think this is the first movie I've ever seen where a woman wearing a white shirt got splashed by water and she was wearing a black undershirt to prevent the only reason they dress actresses in white shirts for water scenes :lol:

The boar scene was the most fun I've had in a theater in awhile. Really liked everything except the start and end of the film which were both fine just not up to the level of the rest of it.

I've heard others point that out and I can't disagree but it did lead to the best use of O'Brien's laugh and him calling her a bitch there got a good laugh from me.

It's Raimi's sardonic, violent humor that sets it apart.

It's so specific that I wonder if non-film-buffs feel the same humor. I giggled at the final 10 seconds of Drag Me to Hell. But it might have been frightening to someone else.

I saw it yesterday and loved it. I really had no idea how it was going to wrap up. My only gripe was all the atrocious CGI.

Watched this on Hulu. I enjoyed it! Love Rachel McAdams. Love survival movies and TV shows.

This was a fun movie - McAdams was great. Rami REALLY wants to make another Evil Dead movie as well lol.
