I can't help myself so I saw this tonight. This is 100% not an action movie and barely even a thriller. It's mostly a quiet character drama with some crime elements percolating in the background. I thought Neeson was actually very good here and there a couple of fun supporting performances.

Unfortunately the drama is kind of cliched and when the crime stuff finally pays off, it all feels very rote and undercooked. With a better last act this might have been something, but instead it just sort of runs out of steam. Still, one of Neeson's classier outings in the last few years, and proof that he can still deliver the goods when engaged with decent material.

I liked this and In the Land of Saints and Sinners another movie that was more of a drama like this one.

At first I thought maybe it was set in the 70's with his beard and the classic sports car he drove.
