To keep things in perspective, every year has a few great movies that donít bring in ticket sales.

There is probably still more downsizing and adjustments coming to theaters.

Saw this today with my son for Father's Day and boy, did I come out disappointed.

Once again, a film that doesn't need to be epic length is. The entire first hour is a slog and could easily have been dropped. The CG is pretty much awful throughout. This is especially disappointing for a series that have prided itself on real stunts.

The storyline is predictable and at times nonsensical. The villain is a cartoon character that is neither threatening nor entertaining but tries for both.

Nothing stood out about this film. Just bland and frankly dull. I can see why it failed at the box office.

My rating: **1/2 out of *****

Looks like Australian tax payers money was used to help offset the production costs.

A shame the same didn't happen back when George Miller was making Justice League: Mortal.

Thank you Australian taxpayers. Now could we please get The Wastelands made as well? Despite the poor box office results for Furiosa, I predict a great ROI for you on this one. And I'm rarely wrong, when it comes to spending another country's tax dollars.

Iíve watched this a few times now. The story and characters created a movie that cant go wrong. The action and style are secondary. To me, thatís the perfect action adventure film.
