Viewers will also hear from the group’s Carl and Dennis Wilson in their own words, plus view a new interview with Blondie Chaplin and hear audio from Ricky Fataar. A Kennedy/Marshall and White Horse Pictures Production, “The Beach Boys” is directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny and written by Mark Monroe. The film is produced by Frank Marshall, Irving Azoff, Nicholas Ferrall, Jeanne Elfant Festa, Aly Parker, with Nigel Sinclair, Mark Monroe, Tony Rosenthal, Cassidy Hartmann, Glen Zipper, Thom Zimny, Beth Collins, Jimmy Edwards, Susan Genco, Marc Cimino, Jody Gerson, Bruce Resnikoff, and Ben J. Murphy serving as executive producers.

Hopefully this is as good as the recent Bee Gees documentary.

Wonder how much an asshole Mike Love will be in this?

Why? They are a gimmick band no better than The Monkees!

They turned into that eventually, like 25 years on. Although Iím not completely sure you are being serious, because dismissing the Beach Boys as a gimmick band has to be closer to trolling than it could ever possibly be to a genuine opinion.

Also, the Monkees made some pretty good music.

Totally joking. It references another member's actual opinion posted recently in another thread.

I am a Beach Boys fan. They may be a touring gimmick now, but Wilson's contributions to the pop music canon are huge in my opinion.

(I agree about The Monkees too.)
