If they ever need someone to play Triple H in a biopic, Ritchson is the easy choice there.
Momoa was fucking great as the villain.

Bold move ending this on a cliffhanger. I sure hope the entire main cast other than Letty and Cypher aren't dead!!!

This will be on Peacock September 15th. I'm waiting until the 4K disc gets cheaper, so I'll see it again when it hits this service. I did use a free Red Box rental to rent the BD because I wanted to see the bonus material on the disc. I watched the 35 minute BTS feature. They used a shit load of blue screen in this movie.

I am pretty forgiving of this series but this one blew. Momoa was a waste and the character was a horrible cliché. I was pretty bored with this one. Hopefully it ends with the next one.

I thought the last one sucked terribly; so I can only imagine how bad this one is.

I thought it was an improvement from all the globetrotting super-spy nonsense. Just an over-the-top villain just looking to fuck up the family BBQ.

You know what you’re getting when you watch this series but even so, I felt a little shame watching the ridiculousness unfold. The story was barely held together. Certain characters just magically showed up in different scenes without any reason for them to get there. Dom is the world’s most wanted man, no one knows where he is, and Helen Mirren’s character just appears next to him. Letty is in a secret underground prison in Antarctica and Charlize Theron’s character is just there. Gal Gadot shows up in a submarine. I couldn’t tell you what the last movie she was in or how she exited the franchise but here she is…in a submarine…in Antarctica…with a shit-eating grin for some reason.
There are way too many characters in this franchise. I don’t even remember who half of them are or what allegiance they have and the series just keeps adding more characters. As if the series hasn’t bludgeoned us over the head with “Family” enough, Rita Moreno shows up for no other reason than too reminds us…Family. The FBI lady whom I barely remember from a few movies ago now has a younger sister that Dom has to save because…Family! Brie Larson’s character has no reason for existing. I’m honestly expecting Charlize Theron’s character to be revealed to be Brian’s long lost sister or some shit at this point.
All that being said, Lord forgive me, I actually had a hell of a good time watching this! As unbelievably silly as these movies are, this somehow felt more “grounded” than the last few, which is pretty insane considering the level of bonkers this movie goes.
Vin Diesel actually shows a morsel of emotion throughout, which is the first time in 10 movies he’s done so.
Jason Mamoa steals the show with his over-the-top villain. In any other movie he would give a Razzie worthy performance deserving of ridicule for years. In this movie though, he’s perfect. He knows exactly what these movies are and plays it well, IMO. He makes the movie fun to watch.
I also liked the empty chair at the BBQ that the filmmakers didn’t need to mention.
These movies are so stupid but damned if I didn’t have a great time watching this and eagerly await part 11!

This movie is so silly. The movies basically turned into what he tried with XXX.
I applaud that they were able to take it from such a small scale movie about big rig thieves and add all this sci-fi spy stuff.

We watched this the other night. I hate these movies besides hobbs and shaw, my wife likes them. I guess this was punishment for making my wife watch The Greasy Strangler . Fucking Cena is batman, batwing, batmobile, batcave. If you want a villain who chews the scenery, get Nic Cage.

I thought the movie was a little better than 9, which I thought went too meta with all the wink, wink references. I didn't love Fast X (I really enjoyed 5 & 6) but it was okay and I'll watch part 2.

I’d actually love to see a spin-off Fast and Furious Logistics that just spends the entire movie explaining how they get themselves, their cars, and the large amount of gadgets and weapons, around the world in a matter of a few hours when they always seem to be at the Top of the world’s most wanted lists and are consistently left out in the cold by the secret organizations they work for.

I finally decided to watch this tonight on Peacock (had been ignoring it all this time). I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the trailer spoiled way too much (but most trailers these days are overlong pieces of shit) and the film is borderline Looney Toons, but, unlike F9, I never felt it was actively insulting me. I laughed with it rather than at it. And I really liked Momoa's turn as the Joker -- err -- Dante Reyes. It's not perfect nor the best in the franchise but it was a fun time. I look forward to Part 2.
