That was an interesting rendition of Hold my Hand. Very low key. Gaga was in the torn jeans, T-shirt and no makeup. Felt very VH-1 storytellers.
I appreciate her trying to do something different and not making it a grand production.

What was the justification for letting both Animated Short winner speak, but not both Documentary Short winners? I didn't rewind to check, but it seems like the Documentary winners got way more time than the Animated winners. I liked that she stayed on the stage, forcing them to give us wasted wide shots of nothing happening, making no time saved.

Tuned back in seeing the dedication to Tony Scott on screen before the cut to commercials. Still a sad loss...

The whole evening has had a vibe of loving movies and kumbaya in the best possible way. This is a great telecast. Everyone is just reveling in how great movies and people are. This is fantastic.
