This is the most blatant case of false advertising since my suit against the movie The Neverending Story

I've been disappointed when a scene I saw in a trailer wasn't in the movie. But I also understand that movies are often edited last-minute right up to the date of release, so I just shrug and move on. Suing over this? Frivolous, IMO. Add yes, this will result in every trailer from now on containing a disclaimer. Fucking lawyers ruin everything.

Oh, and I loved Yesterday. I didn't what to expect going in, and I thought it was just delightful.

And I'd take Lily James over Ana de Armas, but that's just my personal preference. I get why many are infatuated with de Armas.

I assume it probably comes down to what's written in the contracts, but I would think that Ana de Armas being used to advertise the movie when she wasn't actually in it would be actionable on her part. She's not A-list, but they're still using her likeness to promote a movie she doesn't appear in.

I assume (a dangerous thing) that when actors sign on to be in a movie the contract allows the studio to use their image in advertising, and possibly merchandize. The bigger the actor, the better deal they can get for those things.
