The Twilight movies are horrible, but really good soundtrack to all of them.

In response to above...
Still one of the best Beatles' covers from Earth Wind and Fire... and I do happen to like Aerosmith's Come Together and Billy Preston's Get Back. Utter trash movie.

The whole "Xanadu" soundtrack is great. I'd also like to add:
"Cool World"
"Reality Bites"
"Cat People"
"Showgirls"
"200 Cigarettes"
"The Beach"
"Tron: Legacy"
"Sliver"
"Times Square"
"A Life Less Ordinary"

Lots of great scores for bad/forgettable movies, first one that comes to mind is VI Warshawski. Bought the Blu-ray cheap just because I liked the score.

As far as soundtracks, not scores, Judgement Night. The songs were created for the movie though, which makes it a little more than just a collection of songs.
Cypress Hill & Sonic Youth– I Love You Mary Jane
Onyx & Biohazard– Judgment Night
House Of Pain & Helmet – Just Another Victim
Run D.M.C. & Living Colour– Me, Myself & My Microphone
Ice-T & Slayer– Disorder
Del The Funky Homosapien & Dinosaur Jr– Missing Link
De La Soul & Teenage Fanclub– Fallin'
Sir Mix-A-Lot & Mudhoney– Freak Momma
Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. & Faith No More– Another Body Murdered
Fatal & Therapy?– Come And Die
Cypress Hill & Pearl Jam– Real Thing

The Bodyguard has one of the best selling soundtracks of all time and Houston crushes the Parton cover. But yeesh that movie.

You ain't kidding. I tried watching it for the very first time about a year ago on HBO Max. Barely made it past 10 minutes before I had to bail. How did a piece of shit like that make 122M at the box-office? Nevermind.

Flashdance has a pretty awesome soundtrack. Yes, Jennifer Beals is hot and her dancing was sexy. But the movie itself was mostly a boring romance about a young girl sleeping with her boss.

Pearl Harbor is an absolutely terrible movie, but the Hans Zimmer score is one of my favorites.

My parents wouldn't let me see Flashdance when it came out because it was rated R. When I finally saw it I was mad by the end, if you've seen it you know why. The music is still great though, Giorgio Moroder is a god.

Yes that wasn't Beals. But it also wasn't a man. It was was French actress and dancer Marine Jahan. Who did all of the dancing in the film, not just at the end. All of this has been well documented for over 35 years now. And that awful wig not only gave it away, but her muscular legs. I spotted all this the first time I saw the movie in the theater and actually laughed out loud.

Re: Bad movies with good music
Ennio Morricone did hundreds of scores for crappy Italian genre movies in between the great movies he scored. I guess he just liked to keep working and he worked fast. Even when the movies are junk, the music is at the very least interesting. I'm thinking off the top of my head of HUNDRA and RED SONJA, neither of which I remember anything about but the music, but there are hundreds more, some that I can't stand that will surely have their partisans here so I won't name them and some I adore but many of you hate (EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC, anyone?).

The latest Minions movie fits this category. A lot of popular classic songs since it was set in the 70's. I'm personally not a fan of a lot of the songs but they are classics. But it's just licensing so I'm not sure it really counts. Especially when it's the minions singing some of the songs.
Shining Star
Goodbye to Love
Blitzkrieg Bop
Fly Like an Eagle
Funkytown
Dance to the Music
Turn Up the Sunshine
You Can't Always Get What You Want

I checked out the soundtrack album to that on Apple Music in Atmos, they’re all new versions and they’re amusing. Hope the movie gets a 3D Blu-ray release so I can see it.
