I guess Murray being cancelled didn’t stick.

It looks fun. I like that the OG cast is getting more to do. But, after the way the first film ended, I find it weird that Ernie Hudson has no lines in the trailer. I expected him to be leading the Ghostbusters this time around. I'll be disappointed if he gets sidelined.

I didn't even hear about that until reading your post.

EDIT: Looked it up. I'm surprised it just took $100k to settle. Not that it's chump change, but I'd expect a bigger "undisclosed" settlement.

Hmm. I appreciate they are trying something different, but climate change?

You're right. All I could think about during that trailer was Michael E. Mann‘s symposium on the socioeconomic implications of climate change.

I’m not sure who was looking for a “The Day After Tomorrow” and “Ghostbusters” mashup but here we are.

You’d think it would be hard for them to make a comedy that starts with, what, a million people dying but hey, let’s give it a try.

It’s been so long. But is this a take on the Rosebud animated episode?

Enjoyed Afterlife, so I will definitely be checking this out. Love that it seems like the old crew will be more plot forward and not just a cameo at the end.

Had no interest until I saw that Carrie Coon is in this. Then i looked up Afterlife and saw she was in that too. Maybe i'll check that one and FE out anyway...

My hunch is they get "frozen to death" at the end of the first act and the rest of the movie is the new team stopping the evil to save all of NYC.

That would be good. Even Murray’s brief participation in Afterlife was great. A solid 30 minutes of Venkman, Stantz and Zeddmore would be amazing.

Additional filming in Atlanta. They have some extra time. Might as well touch it up. Probably would have been done sooner if not for the strikes.

March doesn't like they have a lot of faith in this being a summer/holiday tentpole. I guess they want us to come out of the cold to watch a movie set in the cold.

So excited. Good for Annie Potts. She’s the best. I know it’s very unlikely, but boy would it be great to see Rick Moranis back.

Yeah, even if it's just something like Weaver in the last film.
